Is my mare a Silver Bay Tabiano??







Any ideas as to what color her filly will be??

The mare is definitely a silver bay tobiano. The foal definitely appears to be a black silver.

Thank you so much for clarifying Emerald's (momma) color for me.I have been trying to figure it out since I got her. I had heard of silver bay before but people kept telling me there was no such thing.

As for "Keeper" the filly do you have any good pics of a Black Silver or know of any good picture sites?? What will her body color be?? Won't hold you to it. LOL She is getting very dark brown (liver like) around muzzle and eyes.

The people you talked to probably call bay silver "taffy" or "red chocolate".

She will darken greatly from her current color. I would expect her to be very blackish with a light, silvery mane and tail. Alot like the third photo at the top of the forum.

If you look at the top of this page there is a 'GALLERY' button, it has pictures of the various silver colors - black, bay, brown, etc.

If so, then paste the url in the body of the reply where you want it. Before the url type [ img ] after the url address type [ /img ] Delete the spaces between the bracket and text. I had to add them to show you.
