Silver Bay or Chestnut?

1 Silver Bay or Chestnut? on 11/6/2009, 3:11 am

This is my little colt who is out of a bay mare by a palomino father . . . . . .

I have done some reserch into the pedigree and the sires sire looks to be a silver carrier. Could this colt be a silver bay? I really cannot decide if he is bay or chestnut and if his flaxenness is just baby fur as i know most foals grow out of the blonde stage!

Any thoughts appreciated :newbie

I believe that is a bay with "baby flaxen" that will shed out. I am 100% certain he's not chestnut, but I'm also reasonably sure he's not silver either.
