Conways Dun the Bar is a 2010 dunskin by AQHA/APHA Starbucks Billy Bob (perlino dun) x Jackietendthebar AQHA (sorrel/chestnut). This foal is extremely light and we wonder about the silver gene. His sire, SBB, does have dappling when wet, and SBB's dam is a dark palomino with heavy dappling. Thoughts?

Probably easiest to go to his Facebook page...Conways Dun the Bar or foal pics of Starbucks Billy Bob

He is what is typically called a buttermilk (or even "white) buckskin. His mane, tail and points are too dark for him to be silver IMO. He just happens to be a particularly light shade. The appearance of his dam wouldn't indicate silver since she's a red base and I've seen heavily dapple perlinos without silver. You could test to be sure, but silver in AQHA is VERY rare to date.

Gorgeous boy! Best of luck with him!
